ABOUT THE PRINTS
Autumn Hill Artworks’ archival fine art photography limited edition prints are created by two of the most experienced, state-of-the-art print labs in operation today, and one historical/manual printing process. Each of these fine art print professionals produce handcrafted images with supreme clarity, unparalleled consistency, proven longevity, and continuous tones.
PIGMENT INKJET PRINTS
Color images are printed by an archival Pigment Inkjet process using Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Satin, a smooth, fine art, museum quality rag paper with a soft feel and matte look, resulting in prints with rich colors and the extraordinary clarity of a coated paper. To ensure the highest quality, paper, ink, and print methods used have been approved by Wilhelm Imaging Research, a respected authority on the preservation and stability of traditional and digital photographs.
SILVER GELATIN PRINTS
Black and White images are printed by an archival Silver Gelatin process using a digital laser printer. This lab specializes in digital black and white printing with extensive knowledge of silver gelatin papers and digital laser technology. We offer HARMAN Digital FB for collector-quality black and white fine art photography prints. HARMAN Digital FB is a premier panchromatic baryta fiber-based, museum-quality, true black and white silver gelatin paper with proven longevity, producing superior black and white prints with warm image tones.
PHOTO POLYMER INTAGLIO PRINTS
Color & Black and White images appropriate to this archival process are printed by Photo Polymer Intaglio, an updated version of historical Intaglio Printmaking, and involves handmade etched plates and a manual printing press. Hahnemuhle Copperplate fine art museum quality rag paper, with its soft feel and matte look helps create truly special, historical archival prints with vast depth and rich tones.
Considering all aspects of our fine art printing processes, you can be confident that any limited edition print you own from Autumn Hill Artworks upholds the true meaning of fine art photography.
